MATT HALLSTEAD PHOTO

I'm a photographer based in Salt Lake City, UT and my primary focus is event photography. Throughout the past couple years I have had the incredible opportunity to shoot baseball & basketball tournaments, motorsports events, engagements, portraits, and a few adventures climbing in the mountains. I enjoy documenting any experience where I can capture action and emotion while telling a story through still images. I thrive in fast paced action environments and can often provide same day digital files.

I spend the majority of my time working as a full time mountain professional. I use Salt Lake City as my home base and split my time between Utah and Washington state. A majority of my year is spent skiing, climbing, or mountain biking but I dedicate time each year to feed my photography passion and grow this part of my life. I'm willing to travel to anywhere there is action happening. If you have an upcoming event that you'd like me to capture fill out my
